Ladies' Rally Hits the Road
8:30am Sunday, June 4th! The Vergennes city green will be surrounded by 20 or so cars (and motorcycles), their drivers and navigators to embark on "An Uplifting Journey Through History and Art." The destination remains a mystery until the day of the rally, but suffice it to say, it promises to be one of the best and most exciting rallies yet. Nothing raises one’s spirit like the wonders of history and the gift of creativity, and the Ladies’ Rally on June 4th captures the best of both. Enjoy the day with old friends and new acquaintances, while giving a major fundraising “lift” to our favorite Opera House. All proceeds from this fun event go to the All Access Project. |
About The Ladies’ Rally:
It is a one-day guided tour though the Vermont Countryside. Lunch is included as well as some games and fun stops along the way. The Rally is the largest and most successful one-day fund-raising event to benefit the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House. Since its inception in 1998, the Ladies’ Rally has raised over $220,000 to support maintenance and improvements to this historic treasure. All proceeds from this rally will go to the All Access elevator project at the Vergennes Opera House. Anyone can paticipate in any road worthy vehicle with a driver and a navigator (and passengers if you so choose).
